My friend Lisa suggested that I take a look at the Australian food writer Donna Hay. Formerly the food editor at Marie Claire magazine, Hay is an extremely popular cookbook author and magazine writer in her native Australia. Off the Shelf: Cooking From the Pantry is a gorgeously photographed book, and I'm looking forward to testing Hay's ideas for simple, stylish food.
