In Progress: Sara Moulton's Sara's Secrets for Weeknight Meals

Happy New Year!

I'm kicking off 2006 with another Food Network chef's book. Sara Moulton is the executive chef at Gourmet magazine and the host of "Sara's Secrets" on the Food Network. Sara's Secrets for Weeknight Meals is her second cookbook. It's a collection of 200 recipes designed to get dinner on the table with a minimum of fuss. A quick read-through looks promising, although I've already noticed a sloppy typo (a recipe instructs readers to cross-reference another recipe on "Page 000." Oops.) and weird terminology (nachos are made from "tacos and melted cheese"? Maybe she means "taco chips".)

I'll be cooking from this book all week, and probably next week as well.
